Two male cheetahs sitting on top of a mound in Savuti (a part of Chobe national park).
If two males are ever seen together, it's assumed they are family (brothers in this case).
Isn't he majestic! This is Sekuti, the oldest of four brothers. He has since passed but he was a warrior, fending off
males from other prides and even his own brothers for a long time!
Your average giraffe. I have never been able to take a proper full body shot of a giraffe so the trees in this
picture give me a great excuse for having captured only the neck and above!
Female leopard marking its territory. Tracking this beast was an absolute blast - the sound of guinea fowl plus
tracking footprints made for an exhilerating experience!
Female blue wildebeest nursing its young. This was taken opposite where the two cheetahs were sitting on the mound.
Now you know what they were looking out at!
Male waterbuck. As the name suggests, the cannot deal with dehydration so always stay close to a body of water -
in this case, the chobe river.
This is a lilac breasted roller - so many colors and even more beautiful when flying
as the underbelly is exposed.
Typical African Sunset.
